Hideto Onishi, Mayor of Takamatsu City, presents a ballpoint pen made out of the traditional craft of Kagawa lacquerware (Goto-nuri) to the German ambassador, and wasanbon, fine-grained Japanese sugar, a specialty of Kagawa Prefecture, to the ambassador's wife, as souvenirs.
