Keizo Hamada, Governor of Kagawa Prefecture, welcomed all the delegates with the hope that the lively discussions in the ICT field would lead to further cooperation among the G7 countries. He also expressed his hope that the delegates would have an opportunity to experience the natural environment, history, and culture of the Seto Inland Sea, and enjoy the seasonal tastes of Kagawa, such as Sanuki udon.
