Event information All events are now complete. Thank you for attending.

A variety of events were held in association with the G7 ICT Ministers' Meeting in Takamatsu, Kagawa.
The events were very well attended, and allowed visitors to interact with various communication robots and to experience state-of-the-art ICT technologies first-hand.

ICT in Town
Commemorating the G7 ICT Ministers' Meeting in Takamatsu, Kagawa
ICT Open Day in Takamatsu Central Shopping Mall

When: 11:00-18:00 (closes at 17:00 on Apr 30)

● Smartphone Town Rally
With your smartphone, go around to 7 checkpoints in the shopping mall.
Hold up your smartphone, and collect the different characters that appear!
Collect 4 or more, and take part in the raffle to win a prize.
* Check out the website (Japanese only) for the locations of the rally point signs.
Over the 3 days, 7 participants in total will each win a Fire HD 8 Tablet The first 750 participants will also be able to choose 1 of 3 fantastic giveaways!

Hands-on Exhibition of Advanced Technology

Where: e-Topia Kagawa (Information and Telecommunication Interchange Room)

Experience real communication robots equipped with artificial intelligence, sensor networks and other state-of-the-art technology. Meet Sota (a talking robot), TELENOID (a compact, remote-operated android) and PALRO (a healing robot).

(2) First ever Japanese exhibition of digital artworks by teamLabo, a crew of ultra-technologists
A mysterious world of beautiful flowers and butterflies, expressed using digital technology. What happens when you touch the butterflies? Come and see for yourself.
ICT Forum on the Future of ICT and Local Communities Closed

Exhibition on the "Adoption of ICT throughout Society for 2020"

Kagawa's Takamatsu City is the site for a presentation of Japan's cutting-edge ICT by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) as it works towards "Adoption of ICT throughout Society for 2020."

On display are the Google Cultural Institute's "Made in Japan" series which showcases Japanese culture, and the Google Street View Car which photographed the Tohoku area following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
